Red velvet black swirl coloured vinyl LP Witchorious are a doom metal and stoner rock trio from Paris, formed in 2019 by guitarist/vocalist Antoine Auclair and siblings Paul (drums) and Lucie Gaget (bass/vocals). Their music fuses blues-soaked riffs in the tradition of Black Sabbath with the thick, distorted churn of Electric Wizard and Trouble, while drawing on the intense atmospheres of Amenra, Cathedral, The Obsessed, YOB and Mastodon.Witchorious have carved out a sound that shifts between incantatory whispers and anguished screams, carried by punishing drums and cavernous bass.
