'A Maximum High', originally released in April 1996, is Shed Seven's second studio album. This 180g vinyl re-issue faithfully replicates the original Polydor UK pressing including the 16 page lyric book. Recorded in London during 1995–1996 and produced by Chris Sheldon, the album marked a significant step forward for the York-based group following their 1994 debut 'Change Giver'. Written by band members Rick Witter, Paul Banks, Tom Gladwin and Alan Leach, the record captures the energetic guitar-driven sound that helped define the Britpop era.
