(limited numbered gatefold 180 gram audiophile translucent green vinyl 2xLP + booklet). Cambridge psychedelia to Stravinsky's devilish chamber theatre is quite a journey, even for Roger Waters. The Pink Floyd co-founder sounds completely at home on The Soldier's Tale, though, narrating with just enough ham while the BCMF players make Stravinsky's little marches lurch and stumble beneath him. By 'The Triumphal March of the Devil', the whole thing has become gloriously unsteady. An odd pairing, yes, but a very lovable one.
