Space rock inventors gong, from the UK, very much developed their acid prog mythology with Angel's Egg, the third album in their Radio Gnome Invisible trilogy between the Flying Teapot and You albums. With no relation to the Mamoru Oshii film of the same name, the title instead stems from lead member Daevid Allen's own mythology for the album trilogy, which - clears throat - centres around the Pot Head Pixies from Planet Gong. Reissued here through original issuers BYG, it comes restored from the original tapes and is cut at half speed by engineer Lewis Hopkin plus 16 page booklet
